On March 12, 2024, for students of the OP “Life Safety and environmental protection” at the Ural Transformer Plant LLP, senior lecturer G.R. Kurmasheva and inspector for occupational safety and health of the enterprise E.K. Masalimov conducted a practice-oriented lesson on “Risks when working in the workshops of the Ural Transformer Plant and ensuring safety”.

The lesson began with an introductory briefing, where the dangers in the workplace were announced: electrical voltage, moving device mechanisms, occupational injuries, welding hazards, etc. and the need to use personal protective equipment to protect against them. Then the students got acquainted with the work of the new panel radiator workshop, analyzed the risks in it.

The lesson contributed to the expansion of students’ professional knowledge, increased interest in their chosen profession, and the development of professional qualities.
