On October 27-28, 2022, students of the Western Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University (boys and girls) held inter-faculty basketball competitions under the name “Sport against Drug Addiction” and on the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The purpose of this competition is:
- Promotion of a healthy lifestyle through physical education and sports;
- Strengthening friendship between students.
- Strengthening of sportsmanship and selection of students of the “student league” to the national team of the university. The competitions were held in the sports complex of the “Pedagogical” faculty of ZKITU and lasted two days. The best universities have been identified.
The winners of the competition have been determined:
1st place: Barys team of the pedagogical faculty
2nd place is the team of the pedagogical faculty “Zhaskyran”.
3rd place – the team of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities.
Among the teams of girls , according to the results of the competition , the prizes were taken:
The 1st place was won by a team of girls from the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities.
2nd place is the team of girls of the pedagogical faculty.
The 3rd place was occupied by a team of girls from the Faculty of Languages and Management.
In addition, the “Best players” among the competing men were identified:
“Best Defender” Zhumabai Zhaskanat (Faculty of Pedagogy)
“Best Player” Tasbolatov Danat (Faculty of Engineering and Humanities)
The best gamersredi girls:
“The best defender” Almaz Esembayeva (pedagogical faculty)
“The best player” Ulzhan Shayakhmetova (pedagogical faculty).
