On April 28, 2026, a methodological seminar was held on the topic “Modern Risks and Their Prevention Affecting the Psychological Well-Being of Students.” The seminar was jointly organized by the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of WKITU and the Regional Methodological Center for Psychological Support of the Education Department of the Akimat of West Kazakhstan Region, within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Regional Department of Education of West Kazakhstan Region and the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University.
The seminar was attended by faculty members, master’s students, and students of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, as well as school psychologists from educational organizations across the region.
The purpose of the event was to enhance the effectiveness of psychological services in educational institutions, promote exchange of professional experience among specialists, improve professional competence, and protect the rights and interests of children as a key priority of modern society.
During the seminar, faculty members delivered theoretical presentations, while school psychologists presented reports of practical significance.
