On January 15, 2026, a scientific seminar was held at the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering, devoted to the development and improvement of research activities.

During the seminar, the participants discussed the implementation of scientific and scientific-technical projects funded by grants of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Special attention was paid to the execution of research works commissioned by enterprises and organizations, as well as to the prospects for expanding cooperation with the industrial sector.

The seminar also addressed the research topics of postgraduate and doctoral students, initiative research areas, and publication activities of the academic staff in national and international scientific journals.

As a result of the seminar, priority directions for further research activities of the department were identified and measures to intensify project and grant work were outlined.
