On March 31, 2025, within the framework of the school of Pedagogical Excellence, a seminar was held organized by the Department of Transport and Technology on the topic: “Methods of teaching video lectures on technical disciplines in innovative educational technologies.” The seminar was conducted by PhD, Associate Professor G.I. Overchenko.
The essence of the methodology was to implement a competence-based approach, which should provide for the widespread use of new technologies in the educational process, such as active and interactive forms of teaching in order to form and develop students’ professional skills.
One of the new technologies is the creation of a virtual educational environment in which video lectures are a valuable learning tool.
It is the video that is able to create in the listener the closest to reality feeling of being present at a lecture or participating in an action. In addition, video lectures contribute to a better assimilation of the material and stimulate self-education of the participant in the educational process.
