From March 28 to March 30, 2025, Almaty hosted AlmatyFair.ai — the largest exhibition in the field of artificial intelligence, bringing together leading IT companies, startups and experts in the field of AI. The forum was attended by Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations of the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology Izimgali Nurymovich Zhubantaev and Gulnara Shaukatovna Utesheva, Head of the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering.

Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dinara Shcheglova presented the innovative AI-Sana program, and also demonstrated the achievements of the Ministry in creating an academic cluster in the country and integrating artificial intelligence into education and the role of “anchor” universities in the program. She noted that the zero stage of the AISana program will cover 650,000 students and teach them basic knowledge in the field of AI, this stage has already started and will last until May this year.
