On April 3, 2024, the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies organized a roundtable discussion on “Current Issues in Research Methodology” as part of the university-wide Science Week. During the first part of the event, PhD Ekaterina Tikhonyuk, one of the Department’s Senior Lecturers, made a presentation on the nuances of recruiting participants for anthropological research. The second part of the event was dedicated to a research-focused discussion: the teaching staff of the Department exchanged views on the issues raised in PhD Tikhonyuk’s presentation and proposed several potential solutions.
