In order to stimulate the research work of students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School, the selection and support of talented and gifted young researchers, the first stage of the republican competition of scientific and practical projects “Daryn” was held on September 26, 2022. The head of the Department of History and Law, Candidate of Historical Sciences Balykova Akkayn Muratovna took part in the competition of scientific and practical projects organized on the basis of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Uralsk and headed the jury. 9 works are presented in this direction of the contest “Historical monuments of Kazakhstan and future tourist routes”.  When evaluating the projects submitted for the competition, attention was paid to such criteria as creativity, scientific knowledge, optimal use of research methods, the course of disclosure of the topic, the relevance of research work. As a result of the project competition, the work of the 9th grade student of Nazarbayev Intellectual School Bolat Aikenai “Protests against forced collectivization in the West Kazakhstan region” was recognized as the best.
