From March 11 to March 15, 2024, on the basis of Nazarbayev University in Astana, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of the joint project “Implementation and strengthening of the content of the pedagogical model of teachers” with the Finnish university HAMK – Hame University of Applied Sciences, an advanced training course is taking place for university teachers and school principals in the Educational Leadership program. This course is attended by the vice-rector for educational and methodological work of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University Samal Mashanova, the head of the Department of Academic Activities of the Institute of Education and Management Aigul Ramanova, the head of the accreditation department Asylbek Irgaliev, the head of the department of social disciplines and physical culture Akkaiyn Balykova, the head of the department of philology, culture and teaching methods Marat Azhgaliev and head of the registrar’s office Laura Kusikbaeva. The advanced training course includes specific transformation processes at the university, such as the introduction of a modern education model, improving the leadership skills of teachers, and ensuring the quality of advanced training. As part of the course, listeners attend lectures by Kazakh and international experts in the field of higher education, work in groups, solve practical issues, and exchange experiences. At the end of the program, participants will defend their projects and receive certificates.
