On November 4, 2022, the rector of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University Shakeshev B.T. and vice-rector for educational work Abekeshev A.I. met with student activists of the university.

During the meeting, the rector spoke about what goals the university sets for itself, what changes will occur in the educational process, what experience we are adopting from leading foreign universities. Also B.T. Shakeshev also spoke about the fact that a great advantage is given to the volunteer movement among students. Issues of unity, tolerance, the collective spirit of students, as well as issues of religion and corruption were discussed at the meeting. The rector of the university delighted the students with another good news, saying that a new Coworking Center will open in December this year.

The leaders of the student organizations thanked the leadership of the university for their support and assured that through student self-government, a contribution would be made to the further development of the university.

In addition, during the event, the rector was asked many different questions, to which comprehensive answers were given. At the end of the meeting, the rector thanked the students for such a meaningful meeting, wished them success in their studies and future plans of student organizations. He noted that he is always ready for an open dialogue with students.
