Within the framework of the implemented complex of measures to improve the quality of education, improve the use of innovative teaching technologies in the educational process, as well as the celebration of the 20-th anniversary of the faculty, the Week “Quality of education – quality of life” was held at the Pedagogical faculty from 5-th to 9-th February 2018.
The Week was actively attended by students and undergraduates of all faculty specialties. 8 open studies demonstration, 7 round tables, students’ Olympiad in Mathematics and Informatics, student essay contest were held.
All week long an exhibition of books and journals, devoted to modern approaches in the field of quality management in education worked in the library’s reading room.
The week was opened by holding a round table on theme “Trilingual education – an important factor in making quality decisions in the educational process” for the 1-3 year students of non-linguistic specialties. At the round table were touched upon the actual issues and practice of use new technologies in language learning.
Open lecture classes were conducted by the master, senior lecturer of the department “Pedagogics and Psychology” Nurmukhanbetova V.E. on the topic “Kazakhstan ethnopsychologiyalyk oi-pikirdin damuy”, master, senior lecturer of the Department of “Natural Sciences” Makashev Sh. A. on the theme “Sporting technikalyk daiyndyg psychologiaylyk erekshelikteri “, Candidate of Economics, associate professor of the department ” Finance ” Sukhanberdina B.B. on the topic “The concept of risk and its economic consequences”, master, senior lecturer of the Department of “Pedagogics and Psychology” Kirillina N.P. on the topic “Ethnic stereotypes”.
The students were greatly interested in the work of the round table on “Academic mobility as a factor of preparation of competitive personnel. International student exchange programs Erasmus, Work & Travel, Au Pair, Camp America, Volunteers”. The students of the faculty spoke, who traveled on academic mobility to Belgorod State University, University “Kainar”, and Aktobe University after S.Baishev.
Instructors shared their experience in conducting roundtables on such topical issues as “Pedagogical creativity of instructors of economic disciplines”, “Innovative methods of teaching psychological and pedagogical disciplines at University”, “Forms and methods of creative abilitiesdeveloping of students and Master students of the speciality”Physical training and sports ” »». Instructors of WKSU after M.Utemisov, coaches of the center”Orleu”certified coaches and schoolteachers were invited.
February 6, students of the faculty took part in the essay competition “Portrait of an ideal teacher”. As a result of the competition, the winners were determined: the 1-st place Zhanabaeva A., the 2-nd place Sarsenbaeva S., MukhanovaZh., the 3-rd place Zhenisova T., Amaniyazova M., Beketaeva M.
February 7, the 1-st year students of all specialties took part in the Olympiad in Mathematics and Informatics. The Olympiad consisted of 2 rounds, including test tasks: the 1-st place Temirbolat G., the 2-nd place – Elemesova T., Eralyuly E., the 3-d place – Onaybaeva N., Sakenova Zh., Albetiyarov B. The diploma of the best mathematician was awarded to the student of the specialty “Informatics” Darkhan A., the diploma of the best computer science student was awarded Yerbatyrov D. student of the specialty “Physical training and sport”.
At a high professional level, open seminars and SRSPs were held by the master, senior lecturer of the department “Philology and teaching methodology” Nugmanova Zh.T. on the topic “Bagalaudyn ulshеmdik tekhnologiyasynyn mazmuny men koldanudyn tiimdіlіgі”, and master, senior lecturer of the department of “Pedagogics and Psychology” Khalikova B.Т. on the topic “Akyl-oiy kalyskalgan balalar psychologiyasy”, Candidate of History, associate professor of the department “History and SDH” Boranbaeva B.S. on the topic ” Korea in1918-2003″.
On the round table “Quality of students’ preparation for work at school”, organized by associate professor Suleymenova D.D. teachers from schools of Uralsk and the West Kazakhstan region were invited. Not only problems were discussed and the practice of introducing an updated curriculum at schools, but also a presentation of the lesson on subject “History of Kazakhstan” was presented by a 4th-year student of the specialty “History”, a trainee of secondary comprehensive school № 1.
On February 9 was held a round table on the theme: “Interaction of education quality with production quality”. The following persons were invited to the meeting: deputy director of the Uralsk Employment Center MoldagalievA.S., head of the sector of the Uralsk Employment Center Atkeshov N.G., the specialist of the Uralsk Employment Center, Erniyazov T.D.,assistant director of Olympic reserve school №1Tuyakov N. Zh. as well as teachers of the secondary comprehensive school-gymnasium № 44 and kindergarten teacher of the kindergarten №49 “Ak Niet” Samigullina L.B., also graduates of the Pedagogical faculty. The problems of youth unemployment, demands of the program “With a diploma to the village” were discussed.
