On October 26 2023 the Department of Law conducted a practice-oriented lesson with students of the educational program 6B04202 Jurisprudence, 6B04203 Legal regulation of transportation, traffic and operation of transport and 6B04203 “Judicial and prosecutorial activity”.

The lesson was conducted by employees of the Department of the penitentiary system of the West Kazakhstan region Kaliev K.K. and Novikova N.I. on the topic “Organization and spheres of activity of bodies”.

The purpose of the lesson was the formation of practical skills of service in the bodies of the system of execution of criminal penalties of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, issues related to the organization were discussed:

– educational work among persons serving criminal sentences using psychological and pedagogical methods;

– the process of identifying, disclosing, suppressing and preventing crimes being prepared and committed in penal institutions, and violations of the established procedure for the execution of punishment and detention;

– control over the provision of regime, supervision, and security in the institutions of the UIS;

– probation services;

– execution of sentences and court decisions in respect of convicted persons;

-work on the preparation of convicts for release, the execution of acts of amnesty and pardon, the interaction of institutions and bodies of the penal enforcement system with other law enforcement agencies, public administration bodies and public associations to approve the results of correctional work of convicts, their work and household planning.
