On November 15 of this year, according to the Agreement «On the establishment of a branch of the department at the enterprise», classes were held at the Ural Transformer Plant (UTP) on the discipline «Electric lighting equipment» under the educational program «Electric Power Engineering» for 3rd year students, in groups EL-32, EL-31, EL-33.

Under the guidance of Associate Professor Sadykova L.A. and senior lecturer Sarguzhieva B.A., the students made measurements of the production premises, counted the number of lamps in the workshops, defined the types and types of lighting at the UTZ enterprise. And at the university, calculations were carried out using the luminous flux utilization method: calculation of the total uniform illumination of workshops, luminous flux and power of lighting sources, the choice of normalized illumination was made, the values of the reflection coefficient of the ceiling and walls, the utilization coefficient, the index of the room were found.

The classes were fruitful, the students took measurements with interest, asked their questions to the engineers of the plant-graduates of our university.
