On February 28, within the framework of the School of Pedagogical Excellence, an open lesson was held by the teacher of the Department of Architecture and Construction, A.T. Taskaliev, in the discipline «Building Materials» for students of OP: 6B07302 «Construction” on the topic «Siliceous materials and products».

The purpose of the open class is to study siliceous rocks and building materials and products used in the construction of buildings and structures. The lesson was conducted in accordance with the act on the implementation of the completed research work «Study of the physico-mechanical properties of siliceous opal – cristobalite rock – flanks» in the educational process for students of construction specialties.

The objectives of the open class are:

– study of the physico – mechanical properties of siliceous rock;

– study of the nature of the origin of siliceous rocks;

– practical application of flask in construction and other industries;

– study of the results of research conducted on the use of flasks for the manufacture of lightweight bricks, thermolith crushed stone, thermolith concrete products, heat shield, thermiz and reinforced concrete.
