Teachers of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety and 2nd year master’s student Bayman A.I. took part in an online seminar on current issues of personnel training for the agro-industrial complex (AIC), organized by the National Authority for Professional Qualifications JSC “Center for the Development of Labor Resources” and the National Center for the Development of Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On the section Educational program and professional standard, where issues of changes and additions made to the veterinary activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan were considered, a report was made by Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor of the Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University Zamanbekov Nurtleu Akzholtaevich. The speaker reported that in the new Professional Standard “Veterinary Activities”, developed in 2023, there are 15 names of professions in veterinary activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The note of the professional standard indicates such new professions as “Veterinary nurse” and “Veterinary paramedic”. The main and main profession in the field of veterinary activities in the new standard, instead of the profession “Veterinar”, was given the name “Veterinarian”. The speaker also noted that a new professional standard “Veterinary Activities” has been developed and will be approved on the basis of approved regulations and documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
