On January 30, 2025, the West Kazakhstan innovation and technology University, the Institute of industry technologies opened its doors to the participants of the Olympiada in chemistry and biology. The initiators of its implementation were professors and teachers of the Department of veterinary medicine and technosphere safety.

The Olympiada was held as part of a comprehensive work on career guidance for schoolchildren and is aimed at popularizing the chemical and biological sciences and developing interest in research activities. The Olympiada was attended by 136 11th grade students from secondary schools in Uralsk who wanted to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in chemistry and biology.

 As part of the Olympiada, participants solved complex tasks that required deep knowledge and skills. The students showed theoretical knowledge and practical skills in solving problems in chemistry and biology.

At the end of the day, the Olympiada closing ceremony took place. The students who won prizes were awarded diplomas of the winners, memorable gifts and a discount in tuition upon admission to the WKITU.

All participants of the Olympiada received certificates for their active participation, and the teachers received letters of thanks. We would like to thank all the participants of the school Olympiada and their teachers for their interest and fruitful work!
