On September 16, students of the educational program 6B04202 Jurisprudence of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities participated as volunteers in the work of the Republican action «People’s Lawyer».

The purpose of the annual nationwide campaign «People’s Lawyer» is to increase the legal literacy of the population and provide free legal assistance. More than 200 residents of the city and the region who arrived at the reception received professional legal assistance. They were advised by more than 50 specialists -representatives of the judicial system, the prosecutor’s office, law enforcement agencies, the bar, the notary.

As volunteers of the campaign, our students, future lawyers, have gained invaluable experience in communicating with the public, providing initial advice on legal issues.
