On November 30, a meeting was held, according to the guest lecture plan, with the head of the production department of the Uralsk Distribution Energy Company LLP, Kulsharov Askar Imankulovich. The meeting was organized for students of the Department of Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering.

Askar Imankulov told the story of the company’s organization, about the activities of the LLP, about the problems and prospects for the development of the energy system of the city and the region. The deterioration of the power grid in the region is 80 percent. Funds are allocated annually for network repairs, but this is not enough. Electrical equipment requires replacement and reconstruction.

Students listened with interest to the report of A. I. Kulsharov, asked questions and answered the guest’s questions. The report of the invited guest was interesting in the form of a discussion.
