On October 21, 2020, a meeting was held with 1st year students of the Faculty of Humanities and Law with the theologian of the Department of Religious Affairs of the West Kazakhstan region Turarbekov Abzal Beybitovich.
The purpose of outreach work is to promote, propaganda of secular principles, the prevention of religious extremism and terrorism, the formation of immunity against the ideology of destructive religious movements, the promotion of national values and the patriotic education of youth.
The main goal of the meeting is to prevent religious extremism and increase the religious literacy of student youth.
During the meeting, non-traditional religious movements, their causes and consequences were discussed. The theologian explained that Islam leads to purity and brotherhood.
Abzal Beybitovich explained to young people how to combine religious and secular education, highlighting, which is more important, and the specifics of traditional religions, security on the Internet, etc.
As a result, students received comprehensive answers to their questions.
