On November 16, 2023, at the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University a meeting was held between a specialist – theologian of the information, analytical and resource center for working with youth, Bakytzhan Kuralbaevich, on the topic: “Youth against gambling and drug addiction” with students of our university.

During the conversation, the theologian told students about how harmful addictions to drugs, gambling, obtaining income through fraudulent means are, and how representatives of modern religious extremism and destructive movements are actively spreading through social networks.

The religious scholar and theologian emphasized that special attention must be paid to internal stability in the country and traditional spiritual values. He also spoke about terrorist attacks taking place in the world, as well as how to avoid unconventional religious movements, and the harm they cause to society.

During the event, students received answers to their questions and shared their opinions.
