On April 28, 2022, a meeting was held at the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University by a specialist theologian of the public foundation “Amanat-Zhaiyk” of the Department for Religious Affairs of the West Kazakhstan region, Ubayev Nauryz Ibatovich, and a consultant of the resource center for youth work in the West Kazakhstan region, Rakhmetulla Beksanat Maratovich. Specialists conducted explanatory work for students on the topic of religion.

The purpose of the event is to give young people a correct understanding of religious trends and explain extremism and the brutality of terrorism.

Theologian Nauryz Ibatovich, began his conversation with students about the history of the Islamic tradition in Kazakhstan and clearly outlined all the criteria of the traditional Islam of our society.

At the same time, the lecturer focused his attention on preventing students from joining banned extremist organizations in our country, hiding behind Islam.Nauryz Ibatovich stressed that it is necessary to pay special attention to internal stability and traditional spiritual values. Nauryz Ibatovich spoke about state-confessional relations in modern Kazakhstan.

 In addition, he noted that low religious literacy leads to the fact that young people go astray, therefore, when receiving any information, special care must be taken, and also noted some reasons and criteria for joining the ranks of dubious organizations of our youth today.

During the meeting, tips and recommendations were given to students so that they would not get into these associations.

During the conversation, the issues of wearing the hijab, topical issues of theological content were discussed. The theologian urged young people to use only official websites to get any information.

As a result, the students received comprehensive answers to their questions.
