On March 28, 2024, the Institute of Education and Management of WKITU organized a meeting with a specialist psychiatrist-narcologist on the topic “Drug addiction – the disease of the century.”

The event was attended by psychiatrist-narcologist of the regional psycho-narcological dispensary Satanov Nurlan Fatihollaevich and acting head of the Department of educational work and social issues Nurmanova A.K. with students.

At the meeting, current theoretical and applied problems of social prevention of drug addiction among young people were voiced. Factors contributing to the formation of drug addiction and juvenile delinquency in Kazakhstan and drug addiction among minors were also voiced.

At the end, the students received comprehensive information on the topic of the meeting, asked questions that interested them and exchanged opinions with a specialist.
