As part of the Quality Week “Digital Technologies in Education – a Factor in Improving the Quality of Professional Training”, the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University organized a master class on the Kazakh national intellectual game Toguzkumalak, titled “Kazakh National Games: Play and Learn!”.
The main goal of the event was to promote national sports among students, develop logical thinking skills, and master the techniques and strategies of the Toguzkumalak game.
The master class was conducted by an experienced regional-level athlete and Toguzkumalak master Bektas Karabayuly Kenzhegaliev, together with magistrands of the educational program 7M01401 – Physical Education and Sport, Ilyas Zhigitayevich Tabyldiev and Zhanbolat Nabiullievich Zakarin.
During the session, participants learned about the history, rules, and tactical aspects of the game. In the practical part, students competed with each other, improving their gaming skills through the master’s advice and analysis.
Such educational and culturally significant events are regularly held at the university and make an important contribution to the promotion of national sports.
