On January 5, 2024, Samigolla Nurzharkyn, a senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies at the Institute of education and management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, conducted a master class at Akniet Gymnasium №42. The event was dedicated to the interscholastic week of the English language in Oral. The master class engaged students from the 10-th grade on the topic “Fear and phobia”. The objective of this session was to assist students in comprehending terms related to fear and discovering ways to overcome phobias.

The students were grouped as follows: those with phobias in Group 1, psychologists in Group 2, psychotherapists in Group 3, and parents in Group 4. Collaborating within these groups, students successfully identified problems and explored potential solutions. Additionally, during the session, Nurzharkyn Aibolatovna shared her experiences with English teaching methods and demonstrated the app, Blooket.com.

This seminar aimed to foster collaboration between universities and schools, facilitating the exchange of teaching experiences in alignment with the dual educational program.
