On November 16-17, 2022, the International Scientific Conference «Mangistau in the flow of history» was held in the city of Aktau. The conference is dedicated to topical issues of scientific study, conservation, use and popularization of the historical and cultural heritage of the Aral-Caspian region. The conference was attended by scientists and researchers in the field of history, archeology, restoration, cultural studies, ethnology, specialists in the field of protection and use of historical and cultural heritage, employees of museums and research centers in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkey and other countries. Associate professor of the department «History and Law» of our university, PhD M.D.Kalmenov participated in the conference with a report.
