On December 05, 2023, the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety organized a guest lecture for students under the educational program 6B09103 – “Veterinary Medicine” and 6B09101 – Veterinary Medicine with the invitation of a specialist from the serological department of the West Kazakhstan Region branch of the RSE on the right of economic management “Republican Veterinary Laboratory” of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Urazgalieva Sandigul Zhainarbekovna.

The purpose of this meeting is to familiarize students with the main activity of the serological department, which consists in carrying out research aimed at identifying specific antibodies in animal blood serum in the agglutination reaction in test tubes, complement binding reaction, long–term complement binding reaction in the cold, immunodiffusion reaction, lamellar agglutination reaction with ros bengal antigen, diffusion precipitation reaction and milk of cows-ring reaction, as well as the study of leather raw materials in the precipitation reaction. The department conducts laboratory tests for the following diseases – anthrax, glanders, brucellosis, leptospirosis, chlamydia, listeriosis, accidental disease, infectious anemia of horses according to current methods in accordance with the scope of accreditation using modern equipment.
