As part of the program for the prevention of infectious diseases, a lecture on HIV and AIDS was held at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies on November 29, 2024. The event was attended by experts in the field of health care, who told students about the importance of knowledge of HIV transmission mechanisms, modern methods of prevention and diagnosis, as well as the importance of regular testing. Particular attention was paid to the myths and stereotypes that often accompany this disease. Teachers and specialists dispelled the main misconceptions, stressing that HIV infection is not a sentence, but a disease that can be controlled with timely medical care.

The lecture was an important step in shaping responsible youth attitudes towards their health and maintaining awareness of HIV/AIDS. Students took an active part, asking questions and discussing ways to prevent the spread of infection.

Our university will continue to organize such events so that students can receive up-to-date information and make informed decisions about their health.
