On December 21, 2023, as part of events dedicated to the 25-th anniversary of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, professor of Ankara University, Doctor of History, Turkologist Abdullah Gundogdu delivered a lecture at the Institute of Education and Management. In his lecture, Abdullah Gundogdu gave a historiographical analysis of the tragic pages of the history of famine of the 20-30s of the twentieth century. The lecturer also revealed the historical works of foreign scientists on this issue. The lecture was attended by faculty, magistrands and students of the university. The topic of the lecture aroused great interest from the audience.
