On November 09, 2023, the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety organized a guest lecture for students under the educational program 6B09103 – “Veterinary Medicine” and 6B09101 – Veterinary medicine with the invitation of the leading specialist of the department “reception of samples and information” of the WKO branch of the RSE on the right of economic management “Republican Veterinary Laboratory” of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the RK Togzhanova Didara Bolatovna.

The purpose of this meeting is to familiarize students with the main activity of the enterprise, which is aimed at protecting the population from diseases common to animals and humans by conducting regular diagnostic studies and thus ensuring the epizootic well–being of the country for especially dangerous animal diseases. Also, the activities of the enterprise, technologically related to the functions of the state monopoly, include:

– conducting laboratory tests and veterinary and sanitary examination;

– verification of measuring instruments and certification of test equipment;

– bacteriological studies of disinfection quality;

– disposal and destruction of biological waste.

All laboratories are equipped with modern general laboratory equipment for carrying out classical methods of diagnostic studies. Regional and regional laboratories are additionally equipped with modern equipment for enzyme immunoassay, polymerase chain reaction (PCR in standard and real-time), bacteriological and virological studies.
