In the “Building Materials” laboratory of the “Architecture and Construction” department, laboratory and practical classes are conducted in the discipline “Concrete Technology” for students in the EP: 6B07302 “Construction”.
For students of the STR-32 group, classes were held on the following topics: “Determination of the consistency of cement mortar”, “Determination of the normal density of cement paste”, “Determination of the setting time of cement paste”, “Determination of the workability of a concrete mixture by the mobility indicator of the concrete mixture”, “Determination of the hardness of the concrete mixtures”, “Determination of the volume of intergranular voids in a concrete mixture”, “Determination of solution separation of a concrete mixture”, “Determination of water separation of a concrete mixture”, “Determination of the average density of a concrete mixture”.
During the classes, students studied methods for determining the physical and mechanical properties of concrete using the following laboratory tools, instruments and equipment: trowels, rulers, laboratory scales, measuring cylindrical vessels, metal molds for obtaining laboratory samples of concrete, a set of sieves for sieve analysis, an electric furnace for drying materials, a Vika device for determining the properties of concrete, a laboratory vibrating platform for obtaining laboratory concrete samples.
