On March 13, the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering held a festive event for students titled “Körisu – The Beginning of Unity and Harmony.” The event was organized as part of the ten-day Nauryznama celebration and aimed at promoting national traditions and cultural values.

The main purpose of the event was to introduce students to the rich cultural heritage of the Kazakh people, particularly the significance of the Körisu Ait tradition, as well as to create a warm and friendly atmosphere within the academic community based on mutual respect and unity.

The event was honored by distinguished guests who arrived from Bashkortostan. Among them were Danis Damirovich Khaziev, Head of the Department for the Development of Educational Projects and Programs, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor, and Irina Valeryevna Mironova, Head of the Department of Meat and Dairy Product Technology and Chemistry, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor.

During the event, participants exchanged views on the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people and had the opportunity to experience the spirit of the holiday. In addition, the traditional Kazakh national game “Asyk Atu” was organized among the students. The participants took part in the game with great enthusiasm, which added a special atmosphere to the celebration and helped increase young people’s interest in national values and cultural heritage.
