On March 13th as part of the “Nauryznama” decade, the Department of Philology and Teaching Methodology organized a celebratory event, “Korisu Ait” aimed at promoting and preserving national traditions.

The main aim of the event was to revive the ancient customs of the Kazakh people, increase youth respect for national values, and strengthen spiritual continuity among students.

During the celebratory program, participants were given a detailed explanation of the essence and significance of the ancient Kazakh tradition – korisu and the history of its origin. Students answered questions related to national customs and traditions, and also shared their knowledge and opinions on the cultural heritage of the Kazakh people.

At the end of the event, elders gave a blessing – bata and then participants and guests of the celebration sampled national dishes. The festive event had a significant educational value, fostering respect for national values, veneration of ancestral traditions, and the popularization of spiritual culture among young people. We are confident that such meaningful events will continue the tradition of strengthening the national spirit of youth.
