On December 22, 2023, an international student video conference was held at the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, dedicated to modern trends in the theory and methodology of physical education and sports training. The conference was organized by the Department of Theory and Methodology of Volleyball and Basketball of the Volga Region University and the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the T.G. Shevchenko Transnistrian State University.

The conference was attended by students, undergraduates and graduate students from the T.G. Shevchenko Transnistrian State University, Belgorod State University, West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University and the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture. From our university, magistrands of EP 7M01401 – “Physical Culture and Sports” Zhaskairatov Askhat and Dnishev Duman, students of EP 6B01401 – “Physical Culture and Sports” Butpaeva Eva, Bakesov Salimzhan and Aitasova Sara made a report.

The topics of the reports touched on various aspects of physical culture and sports. The participants’ reports aroused interest; there were many questions from students and teachers who took part in the conference. Based on the results of the video conference, it was decided to further expand the format of the scientific event and prepare conference materials for publication and placement in the RSCI.
