On the 10th of April 2023 the Department of General Educational Disciplines of the Engineering and Humanitarian Faculty at WKITU organized and held the intellectual competition “Polyglot as a scientist – 2023”, dedicated to the Science Decade – 2023. The purpose of the competition is to master the structure and logic of the English language, expand vocabulary, improve academic performance group, to give a sense of freedom and self-confidence, and most importantly – to instill a love for a foreign language. The contest was moderated by Art. teacher of the department Kurmanova Zh.B. The head of the department of general education disciplines, candidate of historical sciences, professor Kadyrgaliyev N.M. made a welcoming speech, wishing the children success in the competition.

The 1st year students of the educational program 6B04202 “Jurisprudence”, 6B07201 “Oil and Gas Business”, 6B07104 “Technological Machines and Equipment” took part in the competition. According to the results of the competition, the Winners team (group ND-12) was awarded the Diploma of the 1st degree, the scientific adviser Sultangaliyeva A.A. The Lawyers team (YUR-11 group) was awarded a 2nd degree Diploma, scientific advisor Kurmanova Zh.B.
