On February 19, 2026, with students of the educational program 6B11201 Life safety and environmental protection, the operational duty officer of the Emergency Committee of the West Kazakhstan Region, Lieutenant Colonel of civil protection Kabdolov Zharas Zhumageldievich, gave a guest lecture on «Fire danger at industrial facilities».

During the lecture, the causes of fires at industrial facilities, fire hazards, features of explosive industries and emergency prevention measures were explained in detail. Specific examples of compliance with fire safety requirements at production facilities, evacuation procedures, and methods of using primary fire extinguishing agents were also given.

The importance of forming a safety culture at work was voiced to the students, and the algorithm for correct behavior in an emergency situation was explained. At the end of the lecture, the students asked their questions and received an exhaustive answer from the specialist. This event contributed to the improvement of the professional competence of students in combination of theoretical knowledge with experience and the deepening of knowledge in the field of industrial safety.
