On February 12–13, 2026, the Institute of Industrial Technologies of West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University warmly welcomed participants of the city Olympiad in Chemistry and Biology. The event was organized by the faculty members of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety.

The Olympiad was held as part of a comprehensive career guidance initiative for school students and aimed at promoting chemical and biological sciences, fostering sustained interest in research activities, and enhancing students’ cognitive engagement.

A total of 94 eleventh-grade students from secondary schools in Uralsk took part in the intellectual competition, eager to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in chemistry and biology.

During the Olympiad, participants completed advanced-level tasks requiring in-depth theoretical knowledge and well-developed practical skills. The students demonstrated a high level of preparation, strong analytical abilities, effective application of acquired knowledge, and the capacity to solve non-standard problems.

The event concluded with a formal closing ceremony. Winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts, and were granted tuition discounts upon admission to the university.
