On April 8, 2025, a guest lecture was held at the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety of the IOT of the ZKITU with the participation of the Deputy Sultanov Manarbek Dzhumageldievich, head of the Uralsk Special Emergency Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the West Kazakhstan Region, on the topic “Fire extinguishing tactics”.

 The purpose of the lecture is to teach students fire extinguishing tactics, as well as to form their knowledge of the maintenance of fire fighting equipment in constant combat readiness and its effective use in fires.

The lecture was attended by students of 1-3 courses of OP 6B11201 Life safety and environmental protection. The guest lecture aroused great interest among the students and was held in an interactive format. The students were interested in the processes of fire development and extinguishing, the organization of firefighting in cities and towns, the tactical capabilities of fire departments on basic and special fire trucks, emergency fire management structures, fire-technical features of various management facilities.

Such meetings motivate students and contribute to the formation of students’ skills in rationalizing professional activities in order to ensure safety and environmental protection.
