On December 5, 2024, according to the plan of the Department of Law, within the framework of the concluded memorandum of cooperation between the Prosecutor’s Office for the West Kazakhstan Region and the ZKIT, a guest lecture was held by the Deputy of the first Department of the Prosecutor’s Office for the West Kazakhstan Region, K.M. Samigulliev, 1st class lawyer, on the topic “Prosecutorial Prosecutor’s supervision at the stage of pre-trial investigation. The role of the prosecutor in the criminal process.”

 In his speech, the lecturer told the students about the implementation of the three-tier model in criminal proceedings at the present time, noting the role of the prosecutor’s office overseeing the pre-trial investigation and supporting the state prosecution in court. Employees of this department, when studying cases of criminal offenses, carefully check the correctness of the application of the norms of the Criminal and criminal procedure law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the timeliness and quality of the evidence collected during pre-trial investigation by investigators and inquirers, the legality of the decisions they made.

 Kairat Maratovich spoke about the high demands on the work of prosecutors and the tasks before them to strengthen the rule of law. He focused on the activities of special prosecutors who investigate the most serious and high-profile criminal offenses. The guest focused the students’ attention on his example of the need for a conscientious attitude to study , obtaining good theoretical knowledge , expanding their horizons, reading literature, including the works of classics , physical and psychological training as prerequisites for admission to law enforcement agencies, including the prosecutor’s office. The audience was also informed about the material and social security of prosecutors in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Law Enforcement service”.

 K.M. Samigullin told about his career in the prosecutor’s office, answered all the students’ questions and wished them successful studies.

 At the end of the meeting, the head of the department
