On December 2, 2024, within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation between the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology and the West Kazakhstan Regional Court, the judge of the specialized interdistrict criminal court of the West Kazakhstan Region Gilmanova Dinara Mugapparovna, gave a lecture on the topic “Features of the selection of candidates for jurors” for students of 2-3 courses in educational programs 6B04207 “Forensicprosecutorial activity” and 6B04202 “Jurisprudence”.

Lecturer D.M.Gilmanova gave the students very informative and comprehensive information about the requirements for jurors at the present stage, the specifics of their selection. In addition, she noted that the independence of jurors is subject to the guarantees established by law.

The students asked their questions on the topic and received comprehensive answers from the lecturer.
