On November 5, 2025, the university hosted a guest lecture titled “New Horizons of Educational Opportunities and Academic Growth”, delivered by Sergey Mudarisovich Bakirov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, and Director of the Institute of Engineering and Robotics of Vavilov University (Saratov, Russian Federation).

During the lecture, the speaker discussed current trends in modern higher education, the integration of innovative and digital technologies into the learning process, and the role of engineering and robotics in preparing future specialists.

Special attention was given to the development of students’ academic and professional competencies, as well as opportunities for their participation in scientific and research projects. The lecturer also shared the experience of the Institute of Engineering and Robotics and presented successful cases of educational and research initiatives at Vavilov University.

The lecture sparked great interest among students and faculty members of the Department of Energy, Automation, and Computer Engineering. Participants noted the lecturer’s high level of professionalism and the practical relevance of the materials presented in both the state and Russian languages, which allowed all attendees to fully comprehend and discuss the presented ideas. At the end of the meeting, a discussion was held on the ways to further develop the academic and professional potential of students.
