On October 28, 2024, Kalinin Alexey Germanovich, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Process Automation of the I.N. Ulyanov Chuvash State University, held a guest lecture on “Transmission electrical solutions for construction machinery” for students of the educational program 6B07102 Electric Power Engineering.

In his lecture, Alexey Germanovich considered modern approaches to the development and implementation of electric transmissions in construction equipment, as well as their advantages over traditional systems. He elaborated on the various types of electric transmissions, their design features and applications in mechanical engineering.

The lecture aroused great interest among students and teachers, giving participants the opportunity to discuss current problems and prospects for the development of electrical technologies in construction. Alexey Germanovich answered numerous questions from the audience, which contributed to an active exchange of views and deepening of knowledge in this field.
