On November 14, the regional creativity festival “New Wave-2023” was held among first-year university students in Uralsk. The purpose of the traditional event: to establish friendly ties between students of higher educational institutions, identify young talents, create conditions for the exchange of experiences of creative students.

More than 50 students of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University took an active part in the regional festival and showed unity. Talented first-year students performed at a high level and won prizes in several categories. Nurbolat Shapagat, Nurlybekuly Ernur, Sdikhova Dilyara, Ali Ziyakhan took 1st place in the nomination “Expressive reading”, Nadirbaeva Altynay took 2nd place in the nomination “Pop song”, the dance group “Aru” took 2nd place in the nomination “National dance” and “Modern dance” in the genre of choreography. Baibakty Zhandos took third place in the “Traditional song” nomination. Azamat Kuatov took third place in the “Best Mobilograph” nomination. We thank all the participants who performed at the regional festival of creative student youth and adequately represented WKITU!
