11.03.2024. students of OP 6B09103 – «Veterinary» of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety of IOT ZKITU with adviser Zhumagaliev I.K. visited the archaeological museum, where they got acquainted with the archaeological monuments and exhibits of the museum.
One of the oldest museums in Kazakhstan – the West Kazakhstan Regional Museum of Local Lore was founded in 1836. The museum is located in a historical and architectural monument, built in the Moorish style, erected in 1879. The Russian-Kyrgyz (Kazakh) craft school was located here. The museum network of the regional Museum of Local lore is represented by branches, of which 6 are located within the city and 6 are located in the districts of the region.
The exposition of the regional museum of Local lore is represented by 8 halls: archeology; the Golden Horde period and the emergence of the settlement of Zhaiyk; the history of the Younger Zhuz; the history of the Bukeev Khanate; the history of the Soviet period; the history of art, science and education in the West Kazakhstan region; ethnography of the Kazakh people; the history of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The students got acquainted with valuable exhibits and filled in about the cultural values of their native land.
