On December 2, 2025, as part of the signed Memorandum of Cooperation between WKITU and the Police Department of the West Kazakhstan region, an excursion to the Police Department located at 45 E.Pugacheva Street in Uralsk was organized for students enrolled in the 6B04202 Jurisprudence Department of Law educational program.

Future lawyers and associate Professor of the Department of Law, Candidate of Law T. Rakhmetov were met and organized an excursion to the units of the Police Department by Deputy Head of the Department for Work with personnel of the DP in the West Kazakhstan region, Police Colonel Tumenova N. The students were shown the sports and gym of the Police Department, where a planned training session for police officers was held to practice techniques for detaining an armed criminal, disarming him and escorting him further, freeing an employee from the capture of a criminal, and conducting other forceful techniques. A modern shooting range with equipment and individual types of small arms training, where police fire training is conducted, was demonstrated. The police colonel then told the students in the special training class about the training system for law enforcement officers, their study of changes in legislation and special orders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and explained the procedure for joining the police. A video about the work of the police was shown, as well as comprehensive answers to all the students’ questions.

The tour continued in the new large museum of the Police Department, where a large group of students was met by the head of the DP Kadyrgalieva museum, Altyn Amangalievna, and introduced to the museum’s large collection, which was opened for Police Day this year. The students were introduced to all stages of the formation of the militia-the police of the West Kazakhstan region, its employees, nominal service uniforms with state awards, orders and medals, including two general uniforms, official documentation and literature, forensic and special equipment and technical means, awards of law enforcement officers and their personal documents. The participants of the tour were particularly interested in the stands dedicated to the first People’s Commissar of Internal Affairs of the Kazakh SSR, our countryman Abdrakhman Aitiev, dedicated to police officers who participated in the Great Patriotic War and home front workers during these years, employees who performed feats in the line of duty and those awarded state awards who died in the line of duty, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the NGO Dynamo, where all police officers and numerous athletic achievements of employees and veterans are included. Of particular interest was the unique exhibition of firearms seized from criminals in different years in our region, which is the only one in the Republic.

At the end of an interesting tour, Associate Professor of the Department of Law, Candidate of Law    T.H.Rakhmetov, on behalf of the entire teaching staff and students of the Department of Law, thanked the responsible police officers for this event and, in general, the leadership and staff of the Police Department for active cooperation with the University in matters of joint education and upbringing of the younger generation and wished success in serving the guards and well-being.
