On the 8th of September, 2023, the teaching staff of Engineering and Humanitarian Faculty at WKITU took part in the Demo Day on September 8 at Zhangir Khan University (based on the NJSC “West Kazakhstan Agricultural and Technical University named after Zhangir Khan” and the Business Incubator “West Startup Incubator”). As part of the implementation of the grant agreement with JSC “National Agency for Innovation Development “QazInnovations”, training was provided free of charge on business incubation of startups and preparation of projects for their further participation in competitions for the commercialization of technologies with the issuance of certificates. The training is aimed at preparing startup projects, packaging and further promotion on the market. The training includes the following training modules: identifying the market niche of the product and the potential target audience; development of business models for projects; protection, protection and rational use of intellectual property.
As part of the Demo Day, a dialogue platform was organized and held, namely, an Exhibition and Presentation of innovative projects and a startup. Participants in the business incubation program presented startup projects in various sectors of the economy (agriculture, processing industry, construction, mechanical engineering, IT, etc.
Representatives of city enterprises and organizations, as well as experts from various industries, are invited to the Demo Day. The event achieved its goal and aroused great interest from the teaching staff.
