On January 26, 2024, Samigolla Nurzharkyn, senior lecturer of the Department of foreign languages and Translation Studies at the Institute of education and management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, held an information hour for librarians on the topic “Media and information literacy” within the framework of the week of Safe Internet in the Regional Children’s and youth library named after Khamza Yesenzhanov. During the event, librarians were presented with a presentation on identifying false information, working with internet sources, and information security measures.
