On January 31, 2025, as part of the prevention of drug addiction, an open lecture on the topic “Say NO to drugs” was held at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies. The lecture was organized by the advisors of the 1st-year students Gulbeniz Galimovna, Zhanna Arsenovna and Anton Konstantinovich, whose goal was to raise awareness among young people about the dangers of drugs and ways to avoid addiction.
The event was attended by 1st-year students, as well as teachers who actively participated in the discussion of the most important aspects of the problem. The lecture conductors shared statistics on drug use among young people, talked about the consequences of addiction and presented information on preventive measures.
In addition, an anonymous survey among students was conducted during the lecture. The survey made it possible to identify the awareness of young people about the problem of drug addiction, as well as to determine the attitude of students to the topic of prevention. The responses showed that most participants were aware of the importance of this issue, but some expressed the need for additional information and preventive measures.
The organizers of the event emphasized the importance of such initiatives for the formation of a healthy and conscious youth environment and thanked all participants for their active participation.
