In the 2026-2027 academic year, the Institute of Industrial Technologies of West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University continues to develop academic mobility of academic staff and students within the framework of existing cooperation agreements with national and international higher education institutions.

The main areas of academic mobility include:

• participation of academic staff in delivering lectures, practical classes, seminars and scientific events;
• study opportunities for students and master’s students at partner universities;
• scientific and educational internships;
• exchange of experience and development of joint scientific and educational projects.

Within the framework of academic mobility, IOT cooperates with universities in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia and other countries.

In the 2026-2027 academic year, particular attention is paid to expanding the geographical scope of academic mobility, increasing the number of participants and developing new forms of cooperation, including joint classes and events in an online format.

Academic mobility contributes to improving the quality of education, expanding the professional competencies of academic staff and students, and strengthening the international cooperation of WKITU.
