From November 6 to November 10, 2023, at the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, as part of the Quality Week on November 9, a round table was held on the topic “Mental health and well-being is a globally important condition for every person,” organized by senior instructors of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Baimukhanova B.K. and Kadyrzhanova Zh. E. The purpose of the event is to determine the importance of mental health as an integral part of social activity, well-being and the quality of a full life of each person, to develop the ability to cope with any stressful situations and to create a positive psycho-emotional climate in our society.

The round table was attended by expert psychologist of the Higher Engineering and Technology College Omarova K.B., educational psychologist of the West Kazakhstan Higher Medical College Muktarova A.S., lecturer of the educational program of pedagogy and psychology of the West Kazakhstan University after M. Utemisov Zhenisova A. S. also psychologist of the regional mental health center Gubasheva K. N. and narcologist Satanov N. F.

During the round table, issues were discussed on the topics of gambling addiction among young people and gambling addiction, suicide, prevention of substance use, and the importance of mental health in raising children.
