On February 3, 2026, a practical-oriented lecture on “Personal Finances: Income, Expenses, Budget, and Investments” was held in the discipline “Fundamentals of Financial Literacy” for students of program in the pedagogy, business, and management programs. The lecture was organized by Sholpan Disenbaevna Salimbaeva, Master of Economics and senior lecturer at the Department of Finance and Economics. The practical-oriented lecture was led by Elvira Zeynulovna Bekkalieva, senior client relations manager at Freedom Global PLC.

During the lecture, students were provided with theoretical and practical information on effective personal finance management, income and expense planning, personal budgeting, and investing using financial instruments. The lecture was interactive, with students actively participating and asking questions.

The practical-oriented lecture was well-organized and methodologically sound, and contributed to improving the students’ financial literacy.
